This is my letter to the World / That never wrote to Me— Emily Dickinson

Whether it is a letter that you never send to express unresolved feelings, a letter to your younger / older / current self, or a letter to the world, letter writing can be a wonderful way to explore your feelings. Such letters may be in prose or they may take a poetic form such as an ode, ars poetica or spoken word.

You are invited to explore the lost art of letter writing, and perhaps be inspired to write letters of your own.

Upcoming 06/15/2026 Summer Camp Grade: 7-9 Braver Together

    • Date(s):  June 15-19
    • Time:  10AM-4PM ET

    • Open to: All Genders
    • Facilitator(s): Meg Stentz & Maya Martinez
    • Location:  WWfaC Building
    • Standard Rate: $350

Braver Together

During this week of camp we will dream together. What can we imagine for ourselves? What can we build together? How can our friendships make us braver, more honest, and more alive? We will read science fiction and real texts, and take inspiration from communities past and present. Come make new friends, connect to your inner writer, and spend a week in community!

Facilitator Bios:

Meg Stentz (she/her)

Meg has been attending YWW camp since junior high, and is braver for it! YWW taught Meg how to speak up, and how to listen, how to hold space for difference, and connect with stories. It is the honor of a lifetime to keep practicing these lessons together, year after year, at camp. Come write with me!

Maya Martinez (she/they)

Maya started making a home in the WWf(a)C community before high school and never left! After attending summer and winter/spring sessions whenever possible, they completed the Young Feminist Leadership Academy program (YFLA) in 2021 with the Cartographer’s cohort. They are an undergraduate student at Smith College and will be graduating in May 2026. She enjoys writing poetry, reading copious amounts of sapphic fantasy/YA novels, and taking her girlfriend on dates to pop-up queer markets.

Maya is looking forward to working and growing alongside WWf(a)C and can’t wait to participate in the summer camps, writing, and fun that this community has to offer.

CANCELLATION POLICY Summer Camp Rate is non-refundable, but can be credited towards a future class if the student withdraws 14 days prior to the beginning of the start of the class and must be used within one (1) year of receipt. There is also no refund for individually missed classes.
