If not, take the time, now, to write to one, or drum up any writing you have that fits the Roots to Sky theme. The theme? you ask. It’s know your lineage (personal and WWfaC), notice the through-line, and envision the future you are creating. Ask yourself, What kind of ancestor will I be? Where am I from? and Where am I and WWfaC headed?
Now, come to the Roots to Sky Readaround!
Really, just come. Doors will open at 6:30 when sign-ups for the Readaround will begin. No need to RSVP, and the answer is Yes! You can bring a friend! Have you been around a long time at Women Writing for (a) Change? Your stories are needed. Have you just started a class for the very fist time? Your voice matters! Bring a snack to share, or don’t, you are welcome.
And don’t forget we are going to be online in a big way May 2-3 for an important Day of Giving. Consider giving toward Women Writing for (a) Change’s future, in honor of someone from your lineage.
