Summer invites us to slow down, step outside, and notice what is already here.
Six Ways of Looking is a writing circle centered on attention, presence, and perspective. Each session offers a different lens such as place, body, object, memory, relationship, and light, inviting you to experience writing as a way of seeing more clearly and living more fully.
Through guided prompts, quiet writing time, and intentional sharing, you will explore short prose, poetry, and observational writing in a supportive, non-evaluative space. This circle is designed to be welcoming to both new and returning writers. No prior experience is needed. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to notice.
You are invited, but not required, to write from your surroundings, whether that means stepping outside, sitting by a window, or simply paying closer attention to the world around you.
Come as you are. Leave with words that feel rooted in the season and in yourself.
