The Women Writing for (a) Change Board of Trustees has hired a new Executive Director! Jennifer Knight Zelkind will begin the role on February 2. In addition to her experience as a writer and editor in publishing and journalism, Jennifer has experience in business development, philanthropy, fundraising, and strategic planning. She is a passionate advocate for marginalized communities and has extensive experience in non-profit board service and volunteerism including with the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, the board of the Cincinnati Ballet, and the Contemporary Arts Center.
We are grateful for our Search Committee, chaired by Holly Schnapf. This dedicated group, composed of past and present board members, staff members, facilitators, donors, and class participants, conducted a thoughtful and intentional process. I had a front-row seat to their work and was continuously in awe of the care they brought to finding the right leader for an organization cherished by so many. Thank you also to everyone who provided input during the search.
