How does your past influence your future? How do the decisions you make now move you toward a life of meaning and joy? And how, as a writer, do you turn such spiritual reflection into the stuff of literature? Memories, "abiding images," family stories, reflections on the relationship between our current experiences and our past--and future--lives: these are the raw materials for spiritual memoir.
Four Thursdays: July 21, 28, August 4, & 11th - 6:00-8:30 pm
Recently named Cincinnati's first Poet Laureate, Pauletta Hansel's summer series is intended to help new and experienced writers reflect on their lives' meaningful stories, and to develop them into engaging creative nonfiction reflective of our spiritual search.
Our primary text is Pat Schneider's How the Light Gets In: Writing as a Spritiaul Practice
