Why does everything feel like it's falling into runaway chaos? In this two-session class we will write, read, and discuss the history of human experience that leads to and through what we know as a "paradigm shift." The focus will be on understanding when things changed and how we as individuals and communities live with big changes.
Session One: When Did Everything Change? We will look together at the history and evolutionary forces which are finding current expression in our everyday lives. Laid alongside the big-picture look at paradigm shifting and evolution into new realities will be stories we all write and share of how it is showing up in our experience of the world.
Session Two: How Am I, How Are We Living With It? We will contemplate tools, patterns and stories which have brought us to a place of violence and crisis. We will then contemplate tools, patterns and stories which could result in a wiser and more empathic world.
