Following Your Path: Where I'm From
Facilitator: Dawn Koch
Time: 1:00 to 4:00
Open to: Women
Journey back into your personal history in search of the who, what, where, and why that influenced the creation of the person you are today. For inspiration, we'll begin with the poem, Where I'm From by George Ella Lyon and follow wherever the path leads.
The people we've spent our lives with, the neighborhoods and streets and natural places where we grew up, the familiar scents and sounds, the childhood games, the family sayings, the foods shared at our tables, the songs we've sung or books we've read, the memories of where we're from....these are all part of what makes us who we are today.
Let's write together about who we are and where we've come from!
This class is a part of the series Following Your Path. This series of three individual classes that can be taken together or alone will guide participants along their own individual journeys toward self-awareness and personal transformation, with writing as the guide.
