Fall SoulCollage® Circle: Weaving Our Personal Wisdom Cloaks
Facilitator: Sara Pranikoff
Date: 09-9-2016 to 11-18-2016
Time: 10:00 am to 1:30 pm
Open to: Women
Gather and weave the threads of your soul's evolving story into a personal wisdom cloak to wrap yourself in and draw upon for inspiration, grounding, and guidance this season.
Discover how the SoulCollage® process invites your soul's innate healing and whole-making wisdom to come forth through the images you are drawn to work with and the collaged cards you create, and learn how your completed cards can continue to serve as a rich source of inner guidance to draw upon as you respond to life's questions, opportunities and challenges.
Whether SoulCollage® is already familiar to you or is calling to you as something new, this process will meet you exactly where you are each and every time. For those new to the SoulCollage® process there will be a brief introductory how-to once card-making begins.
Time: 10:00am - 1:30pm
Dates (every other Friday): 9/9; 9/23; 10/7; 10/21; 11/4; 11/18
Cost: $179 (high quality materials and tools provided as well as a light refreshment)
What can I expect?
SoulCollage® Circle blends the process of SoulCollage® with the practices of Women Writing for (a) Change and includes the elements of opening and closing circle, safely-held card-making time, facilitated experiences, and small group process, all held within the WWf(a)C traditions of safety and integrity. An e-book on the elements of SoulCollage® is also included. Each class will greet you with an abundance of high quality materials. You will be free to work in a way that has meaning for you.
What is SoulCollage®?
SoulCollage® is a delightful dynamic soul-tending practice developed by Seena Frost, MFT, M. Div. of connecting to your inner wisdom through the process of creating a deck of collaged cards which are uniquely reflective of you. The process of intuitively choosing and layering images onto individual cards awakens and expresses various aspects of yourself and makes them better known to you; it is a means of knowing who you deeply are and who you are becoming. This kaleidoscopic nonlinear process illuminates the threads of interconnectedness between parts of self and between your Self and the world, and invites your conscious participation in the weaving. SoulCollage® is both a soul-tending practice and a practical self-referencing tool which you can draw upon for grounding and guidance as you move through your life’s journey.
How does it work?
Your soul gravitates to images which have relevance to your evolving story, even when your intellect does not know why. Creating SoulCollage® cards draws upon your own rich life experiences, intuition, and instinctual knowing.
How will I use SoulCollage®?
Your completed cards are used dynamically to ground you in your inner wisdom as you navigate life’s questions and transitions. The techniques for using your cards in this way are simple to learn and can be incorporated into a daily practice.
SoulCollage® can be incorporated into:
- An ongoing soul-tending practice
- Exploring major life themes
- Writing practices
- Wisdom Circles
Although SoulCollage® can be done on your own, working alongside others and sharing with one another offers resonance and surprising synchronicities. Participating in a workshop or an ongoing SoulCollage® Circle is a wonderful way to incorporate this simple, gentle soul-tending practice into your life.
