Strengthen your spiritual core while exploring the power of changing your life through narrative and being heard for what you truly have to say. This six-week class invites you on a journey to a greater sense of purpose and worth through telling your story to others.

We will look at strategies for revising that story so that it best serves your growth toward the person you want to become. Through varied writing experiences, readings and discussions, we will use Women Writing for (a) Change practices to help us locate the sacred in difficult circumstances. Join us for the adventure into better knowing ourselves.

A Free Sampler specifically designed to introduce you to this class will be held on Saturday, January 5 from 10:30am to Noon. To register for the Sampler, click here.

Kelly Richey is an award-winning blues musician, poet/songwriter, guitar teacher, life coach, and currently in training to become a spiritual director. She has made her mark through the power of her voice – figuratively and literally. Kelly is a graduate of CFLA 2015 and weaves writing practices into her coaching and teaching practice. Kelly founded Women Writing for (a) Change + Mobile, an affiliate school that takes the WWf(a)C circle practices on the road.

Karen Novak has been with Women Writing for (a) Change since 2008 when she joined the Thursday morning Core class to help recover writing skills lost to chemo. A graduate of CFLA 2013, she has led a variety of circles over the years from classes on wellness to writing. Most recently she sat in as the summer substitute for the Thursday morning Core class. A published writer of four novels, Karen brings a writer’s sensibilities to the class.
