  • Time: 3:00 to 5:00
  • Tuition: FREE
  • Open to: Women

Fall Series:  Feminist Classics

September 13        Betty Friedan and Gail Collins: The Feminine Mystique

October 4            Naomi Wolf: The Beauty Myth

November 1          Audre Lorde: Sister Outsider

We have changed the book selection process to include themed groups of three books each, still reading and discussing one book per month. We will also be publicizing the selections well in advance of meetings. We will continue to use WWf(a)C practices in our free book group circles as we read, write about and discuss selected books. Check out the list of books and call your local library today to reserve the selections of greatest interest to you!  Don't forget to register for this free offering.

The Book Group will follow the processes used at WWf(a)C, to offer an intentional circle using both writing and conversation to broaden and deepen our understanding of each book. We will explore the obvious and not-so-obvious places where we discover, or in some cases the characters themselves discover, the conscious-feminine.
