April 18: Scene Construction: The Basic Elements

This workshop brings into focus the major pieces of a scene, or the stories within the story that move your characters from beginning to end, whether memoir, non-fiction or fiction. They include:

- An event that provokes an emotion, engaging the reader
- Function: the scene serving to move the story forward
- Structure, allowing the reader to trust the writer

**Please note that this class will be held via Zoom online conferencing.** Your facilitator will provide specific details regarding this online community prior to the class.**
