Summer Camp for Teens (Grades 7-9)
Facilitator: Meg Stentz
Date: 06-25-2018 to 06-29-2018
Time: 9:00 to 4:00
Open to: Young Women (7th - 9th grade)
We'll explore the power of friendships in narrative and essay, through ups and downs, from beginning to end. Teens will have the opportunity to share their stories, to learn from each other, and to celebrate these unique and powerful relationships. We'll engage in reading, writing, sharing, movement, and craft as we think deeply about what it looks like to establish boundaries, support others, and give and receive the care we deserve.
All camps for girls, teens, and young women use the art of writing and other modes of artistic expression to enhance self-esteem and build skills in creative self-expression. Programs are designed to help strengthen young women's authentic voices, develop their ability to speak out through writing and direct interaction, and deepen their belief in their own creative intelligence.
