Summer Camp for Teens (7th - 9th grade)
Facilitator: Mindy Weaver-Flask
Date: 06-20-2016 to 06-24-2016
Time: 9:00 to 4:00
Open to: Girls (7th - 9th grade)
Sounds of the Heart: This week, we’ll examine the many types of sounds that we hear both within ourselves and in the bigger world through writing, sharing, crafting, and exploring. We will ponder how we want to be heard. With both fun dreaming and deep writing, girls can come here to have their voices heard.
All camps for girls, teens, and young women use the art of writing and other modes of artistic expression to enhance self-esteem and build skills in creative self-expression. Programs are designed to help strengthen girls' authentic voices, develop their ability to speak out through writing and direct interaction, and deepen their belief in their own creative intelligence.
