Summer Camp for Teens (7th - 9th grade)
Facilitator: Meg Stentz
Date: 08-3-2015 to 08-7-2015
Time: 9:00 to 4:00
Open to: Girls (7th - 9th grade)
Teens will explore the text "Autobiography of a Face" and other memoir writing about friendship. Through art, writing, and conversation we'll explore our friendships and relationships. Teens can expect to write, read, and learn more about their true selves in the company of other word-loving young women.
All camps for girls, teens, and young women use the art of writing and other modes of artistic expression to enhance self-esteem and build skills in creative self-expression. Programs are designed to help strengthen girls' authentic voices, develop their ability to speak out through writing and direct interaction, and deepen their belief in their own creative intelligence.
