Open to: Girls (7th - 9th grade)
“I AM . . . two of the most powerful words. For what you put after them shapes your reality” (QuoteDiary.Me). Through writing, crafting, self-portrait photography, and sharing, we will spend the week exploring who we pretend to be, who we really are, and who we might like to become. We will move beyond the expectations of “I should” to celebrate the power of “I am.”
All camps for girls, teens, and young women use the art of writing and other modes of artistic expression to enhance self-esteem and build skills in creative self-expression. Programs are designed to help strengthen girls' authentic voices, develop their ability to speak out through writing and direct interaction, and deepen their belief in their own creative intelligence.
