Deep Craft: Shaping Your Scenes--NOW VIRTUAL!

Dive deep into the specifics of scene craft. Scenes bring the reader into the immediacy of a story. Engage your readers with action, dialogue, strong characters, and a well-planned plot. Tina Neyer will instruct this series for those writing longer prose projects, from memoir to novels. Co-facilitated by Karen Novak. *Please note that class times are EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) until November 1st, at which point class times move to EST (Eastern Standard Time).

And maybe it is, and maybe new worlds are emerging from all these shifts. Join us to explore these new worlds through the ideas of activists we admire, like emergent strategy,(thanks, adrienne maree brown), pod-building (thanks, Mia Mingus), and somatics and consent (thanks, many teachers and our own bodies!). Core Classes for All Genders - 8-Week

The featured focus of our Core Classes is writing in community over a period of several weeks. While some writing technique is taught in each class, emphasis is placed on writers pursuing their own forms of written expression (e.g., poetry, memoir, fiction, non-fiction or journaling).
