The purpose of the WWf(a)CF scholarship program is to reduce financial barriers that prevent women and girls from participating in the WWf(a)C community of writers, particularly as these barriers relate to race, culture, class and age. Women are eligible to receive partial scholarships to Women Writing for (a) Change semester courses for up to a total of four semesters, based on the applicant’s financial need and her commitment to "being present" throughout the semester, including regular attendance. One-time scholarships are also available for WWf(a)C retreat programs.

The purpose of the Women Writing for (a) Change Foundation scholarship program is to reduce financial barriers that prevent women and girls from participating in the WWf(a)C community of writers, particularly as these barriers relate to race, culture, class and age. A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available to girls, teens and young women to attend our programs, based on the young writer’s financial need and her commitment to "being present" throughout the program, including regular attendance.
