Claiming Our Own Voices
Facilitator: Pam Temple and Lisa Rocklin
Date: 03-5-2017 to 04-9-2017
Time: 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm
Open to: Teens and Young Women (Grades 8-12)
During this six-week session, teens and young women in grades 8-12 will employ the art of writing to honor and further strengthen their own voices. Through engaging writing prompts, provided readings, spoken word, brave conversations, collage art, and song, we will transform the ripples of our voices into waves.
"My voice is never much louder than a ripple, but even small voices sound loud when you talk about things that matter." ~Natalie Lloyd, The Key to the Extraordinary
