“The conscious feminine,” says Founder Mary Pierce Brosmer,
"is an energy of life and leadership available to both women and men.
The conscious feminine emphasizes such values as authenticity,
transparency, hospitality, ability to hold paradox, as well as a
sustainable model of community which supports individual gifts, but not
at the expense of societal and planetary well-being."
One of
the most important paradoxes explored in classes, workshops and the
Feminist Leadership Academy training is the "both/and" point of view
necessary to create both a rigorous and supportive community.
This conscious feminine learning includes facilitating teams in
processes which foster productivity, lifting up the spiritual, creative
and emotional resources of the individual and the group.
At
WWfaC we learn to integrate conflict as a creative process; to
cultivate self-knowledge, authenticity, integrity, and wisdom as
sources of leadership. Learners are encouraged to explore their growing
edges, talents, and vulnerabilities through writing and listening,
boundary-setting, community-building, creative contemplation,
problem-solving, and large and small-group dynamics.
WWfaC
believes such engagement with the conscious feminine is accessible to
all individuals and creates healthier, more peaceful and
life-encouraging lives, businesses, communities, faculties and other
organizations.
